Our Time At Boardmasters With GUL

Recently we had the chance to spend a couple of days at the Boardmasters surf event with some of the amazing crew from GUL.

 

Blessed with sunshine and a healthy looking forecast, the Boardmaster’s event had attracted the best surfing from the UK and Europe and even some from further afield too.

 

Even with some of Europe’s most bright stars surfing, no one got a bigger cheer and more attention the Cornwall local, Mark “Egor” Harris. In an early morning heat Egor was making a competitive comeback and he made his first heat to the delight of everyone on the beach!

 

Later that morning Welsh star, Patrick Langdon Dark took to the water and made light work of his heats.

 

 

Driving through the event Egor fell in a close heat, but Pat made it all the way to the final showdown on Sunday, where Newquay witnessed a tense 25-minute duel in the first ever British head-to-head final. Congrats Lukas Skinner for bringing home the Boardmasters win to Cornwall after 22 years.
